Publication Ethics Rules


The Journal of Francophone Studies and Research FRANKOFONİ which has published since 1989 research articles, peer-reviewed while maintaining the anonymity of the authors and reviewers, in the fields of French literature, Francophone literature, Turkish literature, comparative literature, linguistics and translation studies is an international scientific journal. Each article is first reviewed by the editor and editorial board to confirm that it meets the ground rules of the journal.

Authors of articles sent to Frankofoni are subject to the journal’s editorial policy.

References and citations must follow the MLA reference system.

Submitted articles must not have been published or be under review by another journal.

The responsibility for the articles rests entirely with the authors.

Role of the evaluators:

All contributions are first reviewed and reviewed by the editor and editorial board and then sent to two reviewers – depending on their area of ​​research – for a doubly anonymous review.

Reviewers judge the article according to the journal’s agreed criteria and complete a review form as soon as possible.

Corrections, additions and reviewer comments are sent to the author.

Role of the editor and the editorial board:

The editor and editorial board impartially consider each contribution sent to Frankofoni taking into account only its content.

They are responsible for respecting the anonymity of authors and reviewers.

Plagiarism and ethical standards

From the 38th edition of Frankofoni (2021) all submitted articles will be checked with the anti-plagiarism software IThenticate and articles showing a similarity rate exceeding 20% ​​will be returned to the authors for review and will be refused if they are not not improved.
